DNF Books

This is the list of books I was unable to finish. There are a few I have written reviews for, but most of the time I will not be writing reviews on do not finish (DNF) books. I will just be adding them to this list. I will also give my reasonings behind why I could not finish the book so you know before deciding to read it yourself.

-Verity; TW miscarriage, abortion, murder, child endangerment, sexual content. (I did write a full review on why I could not finish this one).

-Promises and Pomegranates; I will attempt to read this in the future. I like the concept, dark romance is one of my favorite genres, but the characters felt lacking, and it felt like a chore to read.

-The Wedding Guest; It didn't keep my interest. The main character is a weak female, making the story unenjoyable. (I did write a full review on why I could not finish this one).

-An Imperfect Truth; It was a good storyline, and I was very intrigued, however, there was just too much going on at once. I kept getting lost and losing interest due to how it would jump from one thing to the next. (I did write a full review on why I could not finish this one).

-ACOTAR Series; I know, I know, trust me I KNOW. I really tried to love this one, and really wanted to love it. I finished book one (forcibly, it took me 2 years to finish it), started book two (begrudgingly because I was told it was better), but then I guessed what was gonna happen (correctly) and I didn't have any interest in continuing. I just wasn't feeling the connection between any of the characters, Tamlin was trash from the beginning and idk how/why people were shipping him at any point. Tamlin and Feyre's relationship felt as forced as Gale and Katniss' "relationship". Probably a hot take, but that's why I DNF'd this series.
